Batam, November 13, 2024 — In honor of National Health Day 2024, the staff of Aston Inn Gideon Batam embarked on a group trek to Telaga Bidadari. Situated within a pristine and seldom-trodden forest, Telaga Bidadari offered an ideal setting to celebrate health in a unique manner—through an experience that blends team unity, physical activity, and the beauty of nature.

The journey to Telaga Bidadari required navigating a rocky path with inclines and descents, taking approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. The staff also faced the challenge of crossing a small river on a natural wooden bridge, adding an adventurous element to the experience. Despite the physical demands, any fatigue was quickly forgotten upon reaching the destination, where a three-meter-high waterfall and crystal-clear, refreshing lake awaited.

Nina Oktavia, HR Coordinator at Aston Inn Gideon Batam, remarked, “Telaga Bidadari is truly a special destination. The environment is very well preserved, and the waterfall flows year-round, even during the dry season. After the trek, the staff enjoyed the cool air and shade of the surrounding lush trees. Many took the opportunity to wade in the water, even swim in the lake, savoring the atmosphere far from the bustle of city life.
