E-sports can no longer be underestimated; things that were once considered insignificant have now become highly influential fields. One of them is the game Mobile Legends, which has seen rapid growth in both the number of players and achievements in Indonesia.

With that idea in mind, Aston Mojokerto Hotel & Conference Center held the "Community Hero Aston Mojokerto Championship," the first Mobile Legends tournament organized at a Mojokerto hotel. Collaborating with Community Heroes Mojokerto and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, the tournament took place on Sunday. It was attended by 175 participants, divided into 35 teams, who competed in three rounds: the qualifying round, the semifinals, and the final round, for a total prize pool of IDR 6,500,000.

"I have a unique experience, sir. I once joined a tournament, and a day before the match, I got into an accident. I fractured my hip, so even now, I still need to use a cane while undergoing recovery therapy. But despite that, I still participated in the tournament because I love it, hoping that we can achieve something and have the chance to become an Indonesian e-sports team," said Bintang, one of the participants from the Oli Samping team.

The event kicked off at 4:00 PM with the qualifying round, where 35 teams competed in 18 matches. Demanding fair play without any cheating, the game required solid teamwork. After the qualifying round, the matches continued to the semifinals, narrowing down to two strong teams that would compete for the championship title.

"This event is our step to engage the youth of Mojokerto, channeling their competitive spirit so that they can grow and excel," said Franciska Retno Savitri, General Manager of Aston Mojokerto.

Each team consisted of five members working together to strategize and defeat every opponent they faced. The tournament was filled with excitement, with intense matches displayed by each competing team.

Excellent gameplay and clever strategies made this tournament even more thrilling. After all the matches concluded, the Dualah team took third place, the Anak Buah Mael team secured second place, and the Permen Karet team emerged as the champion of this year's Community Hero Aston Mojokerto Championship.
