Aston Manado Hotel continues their tradition of celebrating the Republic of Indonesia's Independence Day. For Indonesia's 77th Anniversary, Aston Manado invited veterans to celebrate with and be entertained by Aston Manado Management and Staff on Wednesday, 17th August 2022.
Shortly after lunch, Aston also distributed packages of basic supplies to the dozens of veterans who attended.
Laurensius Hendrikus, Acting GM of Aston Manado, said that keeping in touch with veterans at the Indonesian Independence Day has been going on for the last few years. "This has become our tradition at Aston. As a form of our gratitude to the veterans who sacrificed for Indonesia," said Laurensius.
Edi Sutrisno, Battalion Commander of the North Sulawesi Veterans Task Force, expressed his gratitude to Aston Manado. "This hotel always invite, gives us a lot of atention every independence day," said Edi. According to him, Attention is very special. "Hopefully Aston will be successful and become a means of blessing for more people," said Edi again.
Also attending the gathering with these veterans were Aston Management, namely Jen Arlin Saribatian, Director of Sales; Andre Mingkid, Front office manager; Reynold Mandagi, Assistant Executive Housekeeper. Yani Untu, Human Resources Manager; Hendra Sawelo, Executive Chef; Ricky Soputan, Chief Engineering and Bayu Enoch, Food and Beverage Manager.
ASTON Manado Hotel is also a hotel under the Archipelago International network, the first group to receive Safe Travel certification from The World Travel and Tourism Center. In addition, the hotel has also received CHSE certification from the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf) and received high scores for audits related to the implementation of health protocols.
