Bandung, August 2024 —  The Archipelago Front Office & E-Commerce Workshop was held at Aston Pasteur on Wednesday, August 14, 2024. The primary objective of the workshop was to share knowledge and experiences to enhance service quality across all Archipelago hotel units, involving over 10 hotel representatives from the Jabodetabek, Banten, and West Java regions.

The event commenced with an opening speech delivered by Mr. Winston, VP of Operations at Archipelago. In his remarks, Mr. Winston emphasized the importance of synergy between the front office and e-commerce teams in creating an exceptional guest experience and supporting overall business growth. "We are committed to continuously developing our service standards by addressing feedback and challenges faced by each unit," said Mr. Winston.

Following this, Mr. Berry Naurika, Regional General Manager of Archipelago, highlighted the significance of integration and collaboration among hotel units to ensure that each hotel within the Archipelago network is capable of delivering top-notch service. He also encouraged participants to actively engage in discussions and share best practices.

The workshop was led by Ms. Dewi Perdana Asih, Corporate Front Office Manager at Archipelago, who provided in-depth insights into front office operations and the challenges commonly encountered in delivering optimal guest service. Ms. Dewi also discussed strategies that can be implemented to enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction across all hotel units.

Mr. Erick Kurniawan, Associate Director of E-Commerce & Distribution Indonesia, then took over the session with a focus on e-commerce. In his presentation, he addressed various obstacles faced by hotel units in maximizing online channels and digital distribution. This session also included an interactive discussion where participants provided input and suggestions to improve e-commerce performance in the future.

This workshop not only served as a platform for knowledge sharing but also offered participants the opportunity to provide constructive feedback.
