Kupang, August 2024 – In celebration of the 79th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia's Independence, which falls on August 17, 2024, Aston Kupang Hotel & Convention Center held an internal event for all staff on Saturday, August 17, 2024.

This event is a form of gratitude to God Almighty for the blessings He has given to the Republic of Indonesia, enabling the nation to celebrate Independence from 1945 to the present day. It is also a moment to pray for the heroes who have fallen on the battlefield defending our Independence. The theme of this Independence celebration is "Towards a Superior Indonesia, United in Diversity."

“The activities carried out during this event also aim to build solidarity among everyone, despite differences in ethnicity, religion, and race,” said Schoniya Hutsim, Marketing Communication .

Not only that, but the other activities also aimed at sharpening the participants' understanding of nationalism. This event was attended by all staff members, including trainees, without exception.
