Madiun, June 2024 – Cycling has become a trendy activity among the community. The beauty of Madiun City at night, which is continuously developing, has increased the enthusiasm of Madiun residents for night cycling. ASTON Madiun Hotel & Conference Center organized Gowes City Night 2024 as part of the 10th-anniversary celebration. The event, which saw 800 participants, was officially opened by Eddy Supriyanto, S.STP., M.PSDM., PJ Walikota Madiun, with a route spanning 10 kilometers.

“Gowes City Night 2024 is a part of the activities celebrating the 10th anniversary of ASTON Madiun. Additionally, we are also celebrating the 106th anniversary of Madiun City and the 78th anniversary of Bhayangkara. The colorful theme of this event represents the 10th-anniversary theme of ASTON Madiun, 'Symphony,' which signifies a beautiful harmony,” said Danie R. Lapod, General Manager of ASTON Madiun Hotel & Conference Center.

Gowes City Night 2024 was held with a fun bike concept and was included in the calendar of events for the 106th anniversary of Madiun City. After the start from ASTON Madiun, participants cycled along a 10-kilometer route, symbolizing ASTON Madiun's age. This route passed through beautiful and iconic streets in Madiun City, including Pahlawan Street Center, and concluded at ASTON Madiun.

After cycling around Madiun City, various door prizes such as mountain bikes, smart TVs, refrigerators, washing machines, hotel stay vouchers, and dozens of other prizes were prepared at Kedaton Garden. The event concluded with a guest star performance by Jihan Audy, adding to the excitement of Gowes City Night 2024. It is hoped that events like this can promote tourism in Madiun City, thereby increasing visitor numbers, and fostering positive activities, especially for the youth in Madiun City.
