ASTON Gorontalo Hotel & Villas, under the management of operator Archipelago International, has successfully organized the "Expert Talks: The Art of Hospitality" as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. The event, which took place on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, aimed to inspire and give insight to hundreds of students of SMK N 2 Gorontalo City about the world of hospitality.

The students of SMK N 2 Gorontalo City showed high enthusiasm in participating in this event, ready to learn from experts in the hospitality field. The event began with remarks from the Principal of SMK N 2 Gorontalo City, followed by the General Manager of ASTON Gorontalo Hotel & Villas.

In her speech, General Manager of ASTON Gorontalo Hotel & Villas, Ms. Yunita emphasized the importance of finding passion and winning the digital tourism era. Ms. Yunita also emphasized that the hospitality industry offers exciting career opportunities and rapid growth. She also explained the various career paths that can be taken, including management, engineering, housekeeping, front office, F&B service, F&B product, finance, HRD, and sales & marketing positions. "So, ready to discover your passion?" he said enthusiastically.

The event featured three keynote speakers who provided valuable insights into the world of hospitality including Chef Denny Frederick - Corporate Executive Chef of Archipelago, Mr. Bintang Watjana - Corporate Chief Engineer of Archipelago, and Ms. Yunita Damayanti Abdullah - General Manager of ASTON Gorontalo Hotel & Villas.

In addition to presentation sessions, the event was also filled with panel discussions, workshops, and networking sessions that gave students the opportunity to interact directly with experts and gain useful practical knowledge.

The highlight of the event was marked by the presentation of souvenirs from ASTON Gorontalo Hotel & Villas and Archipelago International to SMK N 2 Gorontalo City as a symbol of collaboration and support for vocational education.
