Bandung, June 2024 — A crucial training session on Basic Life Support (BLS) for children was successfully held at Aston Pasteur Hotel, Bandung. The training was conducted by Dr. Ilma Nazhira from RS Hermina Pasteur, who shared in-depth knowledge and practical skills with the participants.
The training was attended by participants from various Archipelago hotels, including Aston Pasteur, Neo Dipatiukur, Fave Hotel Hypersquare, Fave Hotel Braga, Fave Hotel Cimanuk Garut, Harper Purwakarta, and Fave Karawang. During the session, Dr. Ilma emphasized the importance of swift and accurate handling in child emergency situations, especially those involving respiratory issues. "Swift and accurate handling is crucial in emergency situations involving children, particularly those related to respiratory problems," said Dr. Ilma Nazhira. Topics covered included chest compression techniques for infants and children, how to provide artificial respiration and safety measures for both the rescuer and the patient.
Participants were given the opportunity to practice the techniques under the guidance of Dr. Ilma and the medical team from RS Hermina Pasteur. "We hope that through this hands-on practice, participants can better understand and master the life-saving techniques," added Dr. Ilma.
The training received positive feedback from the participants, who felt they gained valuable knowledge and skills. "This training has been incredibly helpful in preparing us to handle emergency situations, especially those involving children," remarked a participant from Aston Pasteur Hotel.
