Banjar, June 17, 2024 - As part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) commitment, Aston Banua Banjarmasin Hotel & Convention Center held a series of activities in commemoration of Eid al-Adha 1445 H. These activities included congregational Eid al-Adha prayers, animal slaughtering, and the distribution of qurban meat to the surrounding community.

Eid al-Adha is an important moment to strengthen bonds, and this year, Aston Banua Banjarmasin Hotel & Convention Center had the opportunity to share with others. The event began with the Eid al-Adha prayer attended by all hotel staff, hotel guests, and nearby residents. The prayer was led by Guru Mahmud as Imam and Khatib, followed by a short sermon from Guru Mahmud.

This year, Aston Banua Banjarmasin Hotel & Convention Center sacrificed one cow as part of its commitment to uphold religious values and social responsibility. The qurban meat was then distributed to one hundred nearby residents from two local neighbourhood units. This step also serves as tangible proof of Aston Banua Banjarmasin Hotel & Convention Center's concern in making a positive impact on the surrounding community.

Dikdik Solehudin, General Manager of Aston Banua Banjarmasin Hotel & Convention Center, stated, "Every year, Aston Banua strives to hold events like this. Alhamdulillah, this year we can do it again. Such activities are not only for sharing but also for jointly performing the Eid al-Adha ritual, so that we all feel the same blessings."
