ASTON Jayapura, ASTON Jayapura Hotel Held a Blood Donation event. This activity is part of the 13^th Anniversary celebration of ASTON Jayapura Hotel, held at Numbay Room 1&2. The event collaborated with RS.PROVITA , the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) Jayapura city, on Wednesday (31/01/2024).

Donating blood has numerous benefits besides its charitable goal of providing blood transfusions to those in need. The notion that donating blood can make one feel weak is false.

When we donate blood, our body immediately reacts by producing replacements, so we will not experience blood shortage. Apart from stimulating the production of new blood cells, there are several other health benefits we can experience from donating blood, such as maintaining heart health, increasing red blood cell production, obtaining psychological well-being, and detecting serious diseases.

Participants in this activity included members of the police force, the armed forces, and hoteliers from the jayapura City area. Some of the participants are regular blood donors and even registered as permanent donors. A total of 45 bags of blood were collected from this event.

Thank you to the donors and organizers. May you always be blessed with good health. Hopefully, This activity can conducted regularly in the future.
