Bandung, April 2024 —  Aston Pasteur Hotel successfully held a fire prevention training attended by its staff on April 25, 2024, located in the rear parking area. This training aimed to raise awareness of safety protocols and preparedness in facing emergencies.

Muhamad Iskandar, serving as the chief security and also the fire brigade chief, led the training and explained the importance of fire prevention training, emergency extinguishing tools, the function of the active fire protection at Aston Pasteur Hotel, how to use emergency extinguishing tools, and explained the fire protocols at Aston Pasteur Hotel. Mr. Iskandar also explained that in the event of a fire, it is advised not to panic and to immediately inform the designated person to locate the source of the fire.

After listening to Mr. Iskandar's explanation, the staff were directed to try out firsthand how to use emergency fire extinguishing tools properly. Several tools were used such as Fire Blanket, Fire Ball, Dry Chemical Powder, and Carbon Dioxide. One by one, the staff tried to extinguish the fire that had been provided for the training.

"Fire can happen anywhere and cannot be predicted when disaster will strike, therefore this fire prevention training is very much needed, at least for oneself," said Muhamad Iskandar, Chief Security of Aston Pasteur Hotel.
