Sentul – February 2024, Chinese New Year is the most awaited date in the Chinese calendar when family and colleagues gather together to celebrate. ASTON Sentul Lake Resort & Conference center successfully held this special occasion to celebrate the year of the dragon with a buffet dinner at Barata Coffee Shop, lion dance and fun activity collaborations with Noccio.

"Mr. Albert Siregar, General Manager, said that on Chinese New Year’s Eve we served the delights of the Lunar New Year Dinner Buffet. Guests were spoiled with the special dish of Yee Sang (Raw Fish Salad), a traditional Malaysian/Singaporean dish consisting of slices of fresh salmon accompanied by sliced fresh vegetables and various kinds of seasonings served with plum sauce.

It was hoped this event would bring good luck to all our guests in the Chinese New Year. In addition, guests got the opportunity to get a Lucky Angpao Tree. Executive Chef - Erick Kencana, stated "Our signature menu was very tempting and came with a wide selection of more than 100 menu dishes, from appetizers, main dishes, and desserts. These delicious dishes included Taiwanesse beef noodle soup with vegetables and spices, egg foo young with shrimp, dice chicken and sweet sour sauce.  Sichuan style mapo tofu with scallion and minced beef or yin yang tang yuan / sticky rice ball in soup and many other interesting dishes”. Dinner was accompanied by live music with cheongsam or traditional Chinese outfit.

The entertainment continued the next day with a complete lion dance with the Gods Cai Sheen Ye & Sekwie. They walk around from the hotel lobby, restaurant, and swimming pool area to the lake area. It didn’t stop there, on Sunday the guests were also enthusiastic taking part in the program, "Fun Activity", located at Terrace Barata Restaurant from 8 - 10 am. Collaborating with the Noccio brand. Noccio is a jam different from other peanut butter, with the slogan "less salt no cholesterol" & halal MUI.
