Citilink Flight QG8813, an A320 aircraft, safely landed at Hang Nadim International Airport, Batam, Kepulauan Riau, after a journey of over 3 hours from Kunming Changsui Airport, China, on Sunday, January 21, 2024. This charter flight brought 133 tourists from the land of the Great Wall, opening up opportunities for closer collaboration between the two countries' tourist destinations.

Mr. Pikri Ilham Kurniansyah, CEO of PT Batam International Airport (BIB), stated during a press conference at Hang Nadim Airport's arrival gate that this charter flight is part of the development plan for Hang Nadim Airport. Meanwhile, Mr. Guntur Sakti, Head of the Tourism Department of the Kepulauan Riau Province, expressed that the flight from Kunming, China, to Batam is a significant part of Hang Nadim International Airport's grand plan to increase foreign tourist visits to Kepulauan Riau.
