Bandung, October 2023 - In an effort to enhance safety at swimming pools and water recreational facilities in Bandung, on October 18, 2023, the Bandung City Health Department organized a workshop and lifeguard certification held at ASTON Pasteur Hotel.

The workshop aimed to provide in-depth knowledge about lifesaving techniques, emergency handling, and a profound understanding of visitor safety in the swimming pool area. Participants from ASTON Pasteur Hotel, Harper Purwakarta, favehotel Braga, and Hotel NEO Dipatiukur underwent intensive training led by experienced instructors in the field. The workshop also included a lifeguard certification exam comprising practical and theoretical tests to assess participants' knowledge and skills in dealing with emergency situations around water.

The Bandung City Health Department expressed its appreciation for the dedication and enthusiasm of the participants in raising the safety standards at recreational water facilities. It emphasized the importance of collaboration between the public and private sectors in creating a safe environment for visitors.
