Pontianak, October 2023 – In celebration of the 13th anniversary of ASTON Pontianak Hotel & Convention Center and the 11th anniversary of Transera Hotel Pontianak, the two hotels, together with Rumah Zakat Kalbar, invited Orphans and Underprivileged Children to Play at the Pal 5 Playground. This event, titled BERCYANDA, is about Sharing Joy with Orphans & the Underprivileged. A total of 24 children, who are under the care of Rumah Zakat Kalbar, were picked up from Cermai Alley, Kom Yos Sudarso Street, on Friday, September 29, 2023, from 2 PM to 5 PM. Despite heavy rain at the beginning of the event, the spirits and excitement of the children to play were not dampened.

'Initially, we were worried. The children arrived at the Pal 5 playground location to extremely heavy rain, and they couldn't play,' said Anto W. Soemartono, the General Manager of ASTON Pontianak, when interviewed at the event location. 'Thank God, the rain stopped, and they could finally play. Seeing them so cheerful and enthusiastic on-site also made us happy and content. Every year, as part of ASTON & Transera's anniversary celebration, we carry out CSR activities like this,' he added.

Yunita Wardani, a consultant from Rumah Zakat Kalbar, expressed gratitude for this BERCYANDA collaboration. The happiness of the children under Rumah Zakat's care was clearly visible from their excited faces as they tried the new Pal 5 playground, which is currently trending. 'May their happiness turn these children, who are under Rumah Zakat's care, into grateful individuals, and may their joy bring blessings to ASTON Hotel, Transera Hotel Pontianak, and also the Pal 5 Culinary and playground,' she said.

Khanita Adzra, one of the children who tried the Rainbow Slider, expressed her immense joy and desire to try all the rides. 'When playing the bumper cars, I got to try it twice,' she added. Muhammad Oril, too, was thrilled to play at the Pal 5 playground. 'It was so much fun; I didn't want to leave,' he exclaimed.

The management of ASTON Pontianak Hotel & Convention Center and Transera Hotel Pontianak expressed their gratitude to the Pal 5 Culinary and Entertainment Park for providing free entry tickets and rides for children.
