ASTON MOJOKERTO WINS ARCHIPELAGO BLACK BOX BATTLE EVENT

Every employee at Aston Mojokerto has a place where they may continue to learn and grow. With this zeal, Aston Mojokerto sent two of its top representatives to compete in the Archipelago Black Box Battle event, which was held at the favehotel Sidoarjo, and won the title. During this event, Agustina Shabrina became the first female participant to win a drink-mixing competition, and Chef Title Adhi Wibowo also won the cooking competition.

Chef Gelar prepared 'Kecombrang Chicken Curry,' a fusion dish inspired by Balinese delicacies rich in spices and uses kecombrang flowers.
'I want to present a blend of curry spices and kecombrang flowers that have a fresh, distinct taste and aroma to produce a unique flavor that the jury appreciates,' he explained.

This event, held in the ballroom and pond's outdoor area of favehotel Sidoarjo, was attended by 16 Chefs and F&B Leaders from Archipelago International hotels in Indonesia. The drink-mixing competition lasted 30 minutes, while the cooking competition was 60 minutes.

Archipelago Black Box Battle is a food and drink mixing competition organized by Archipelago International. This is the third event, following successful events in Jakarta and Solo. At this event, each competitor is tasked to produce food or drink creations made from the ingredients in a mystery black box, which the judges pick.
