Canggu, 21 July 2023 – ASTON Canggu, a prominent hotel in the heart of Canggu, is thrilled to announce its collaboration with Archipelago International for a heartwarming Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. The focus of this endeavor is to uplift underprivileged children in the local community by providing them with essential knowledge in the fields of Food & Beverage, Kitchen & Bar Safety Procedures, and Hotel Management – knowledge that will undoubtedly shape their future endeavors. As part of this meaningful collaboration with Archipelago International, ASTON Canggu is wholeheartedly committed to positively impacting the lives of the less fortunate children in the region. Through hands-on training sessions, the children were immersed in practical experiences in cooking and beverage preparation while gaining insights into costing and pricing strategies.

ASTON Canggu's Executive Chef, Chef Gede Darmada, took the lead in demonstrating the art of crafting a delectable chicken wrap. Alongside the culinary demonstration, Chef Gede gave valuable knowledge on calculating the cost of the chicken wrap and determining an appropriate selling price, providing the children with a comprehensive learning experience.

Additionally, the Food and Beverage Manager, Agung Udiana, showcased the intricate process of creating a perfect Coffee Latte. The children were introduced to the concept of a Bottled Coffee Latte, learning essential skills in calculating production costs and strategizing the selling price for the bottled beverage.

The entire team at ASTON Canggu is deeply passionate about making a significant difference in the lives of these children. As part of this initiative, the hotel staff also demonstrated their unwavering support and compassion by generously contributing donations during the event. Our HR Manager, Kadek Sukerta, gracefully collected the donations, which were then presented on behalf of the staff by our esteemed General Manager, Gusti Cayaningrat.

This remarkable initiative has received tremendous support and participation from various hotel units in Bali, all under the auspices of Archipelago International. The collective efforts of hotels such as Aston Denpasar, Neo Denpasar, and Quest San Denpasar further highlight the unity and dedication to uplifting the local community.
