The month of Ramadan is a month of goodness that should be filled with good deeds and sharing with others. Just like what ASTON Pontianak did in collaboration with EF Pontianak, Cantata, and Dompet Ummat through a program called Sharing is Caring, with the theme of Learning, Shopping, and Breaking Fast together with Orphans and the Needy. The activity was held on Thursday, April 6th, 2023 by inviting 20 orphans and needy children from Kalimas Village, Sungai Kakap. The children were invited to learn how to make greeting cards from English First Pontianak, then taken for shopping at Mitra Anda supermarket, and finally breaking the fast together at ASTON Pontianak.

"While shopping, the children were accompanied by employees from ASTON, EF, Cantata, and Dompet Ummat. One child was accompanied by one person to help and choose clothes or other items in the supermarket," said Arifin, the PR Manager of ASTON Pontianak and also the person in charge of the event. "We are very happy to collaborate and hold CSR activities like this, seeing the smiles and happiness of children taken shopping for Eid clothes," he added.
Reya, one of the children, said she was very happy to participate in this activity and chose to buy new clothes for Eid. Rifi also chose to buy a set of new clothes, pants, and a shirt. When asked if she wanted to buy snacks or more food by the accompanying elder brother since there was still change left, she said that she would save the remaining money at home.

Anto W. Soemartono, the General Manager of ASTON Pontianak, appreciated this activity and thanked those who collaborated, namely EF Pontianak, Cantata Music School, and Dompet Ummat. "This is a CSR activity that is routinely carried out during the Ramadan period with the aim of sharing and caring for others, and this year's concept was different by taking children shopping and then breaking the fast at the hotel," he said.
