ASTON Sidoarjo City Hotel & Conference Center celebrated its third anniversary by inviting people with HIV/AIDS who receive assistance from the Sidoarjo Regency's Social Service, Health Office, and Manpower Office.
Participants in this activity were invited to make a Fruit Pie. Chef Arif, as Chef De Partie, directly guided the activity at Kayana Restaurant. "We created this event to provide fun activities for ODHA through culinary training, so participants can practice on a daily basis," said Putri Endita, Human Resource Officer at ASTON Sidoarjo.
This event was attended by Drs. Ahmad Misbahul Munir, M.Si, Head of the Social Service, Dr. Fenny Apridawati, S.KM, M.Kes, Head of the Health Service, and Ainun Amalia, S. Sos, Head of the Employment Service. This training activity included 25 PLHIV participants. Chef Arif showed them how to make Fruit Pie.
In addition to making Fruit Pies, ASTON Sidoarjo surprised ODHA participants with a Food Parade by the Food & Beverage team, which distributed cake offerings to the participants. This makes the participants happy. "This is the first time I've participated in a catering activity like this at a hotel; it's exciting and adds inspiration," Fitri, one of the activity participants, said.
This culinary training also directly provides opportunities for ODHA to do whatever they want without limitations. "Break The Limit," as the slogan for ASTON Sidoarjo's third anniversary. "We hope that this activity will provide enthusiasm and inspiration for all parties to continue working and giving their best in their lives," said David E. Susanto, General Manager of ASTON Sidoarjo.
