Bojonegoro, February 2023 - Fire awareness and fire extinguisher training are crucial for all hospitality staff for the safety of guests and employees. For this reason, ASTON Bojonegoro City Hotel, in collaboration with the Bojonegoro District Fire Department, held a fire drill on January 27, 2023. All staff was taught about increasing alertness, awareness of fire risks, and how to extinguish a fire safely. This exercise was carried out by all employees and held at the south door of the hotel, in a safe location away from guests. The function of implementing this training was for all employees to understand how to use the fire extinguishers available at the hotel and could operate them if a fire occurred.

Ms. AR Atik Damarjati, General Manager of ASTON Bojonegoro City Hotel and favehotel Sudirman Bojonegoro, said, "We did this fire drill so that every employee knows the correct steps on how to use a fire extinguisher. So if there is a fire, they already understand what to do and can immediately extinguish it using the tools provided."

Mr. Anak Agung Gede Putra Kresnanda, HR Manager for ASTON Bojonegoro City Hotel and favehotel Sudirman Bojonegoro, added, "To carry out this exercise we worked closely with the Bojonegoro District Fire Department so we could learn directly from the experts. The Bojonegoro Regency Fire Team provided complete material regarding how to extinguish a fire using several tools available at the hotel, like APAR, Hydrant, or a wet cloth. This successfully trained the alertness of every hotel employee, both ASTON & favehotel Bojonegoro, on fire safety."
