Bali, Indonesia – October 25, 2024  — Aston Canggu Beach Resort, in collaboration with The Kirana Canggu, organized a meaningful beach clean-up event at Batu Bolong Beach on October 25, 2024. This joint initiative aimed to contribute to the preservation of Bali’s beautiful coastlines and raise environmental awareness among local communities, tourists, and businesses in the Canggu area.

Over 100 participants, including hotel guests, staff members, local residents, and volunteers, gathered early in the morning to join the clean-up effort. Armed with gloves, reusable bags, and a strong sense of purpose, the team managed to collect and responsibly dispose of significant amounts of plastic waste, glass, and other debris that had accumulated along the shore.

As part of Aston Canggu Beach Resort and The Kirana Canggu’s shared commitment to environmental sustainability, the beach clean-up was organized to highlight the importance of maintaining clean beaches and to protect marine life. This collaborative effort is also part of the hotels’ ongoing corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs aimed at fostering a cleaner and greener Bali.

The event ended with refreshments for participants and a brief sharing session about sustainable tourism and the importance of reducing single-use plastics.
