Samarinda – Archipelago International, a leading company in the hospitality industry, conducted its regular visit to one of its units in Samarinda, namely ASTON Samarinda Hotel & Convention Center, while also holding a sharing session involving students from SMK Negeri 2 and SMK Negeri 3 Samarinda in a collaborative program entitled "Efficiency and Collaboration in Hotel Operations integrating housekeeping and engineering expertise”.

This program aims to provide in-depth insights to the younger generation about operational efficiency in the hospitality industry, particularly in integrating housekeeping and engineering expertise. Held in the Oasis room on the 15th floor of ASTON Samarinda Hotel, the speakers for this event were Mr. BINTANG WATJANA as CORPORATE CHIEF ENGINEER - EAST ARCHIPELAGO INTERNATIONAL and Ms. NOVIA AGUSTIN as CORPORATE EXECUTIVE HOUSEKEEPER - EAST ARCHIPELAGO INTERNATIONAL.

The purpose of this activity is to provide deep insights into hotel operations to students and motivate the younger generation to explore careers in the hospitality industry related to housekeeping and engineering fields. The topics covered include operational efficiency concepts, focusing on integrating housekeeping and engineering skills to enhance hotel performance.

During this occasion, the students were also given the opportunity for a hotel tour to see the rooms and facilities available at Aston Samarinda, and a session was opened for direct interaction with Q&A to provide the students with a deeper understanding of this industry.
