Makassar, May 8, 2024 – Various series of events to celebrate the 12th anniversary of ASTON Makassar have been prepared by the management. One of them is a CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) activity, namely Blood Donation and Free Health Check-ups involving employees, stakeholders, and other hotel guests.

In collaboration with the Makassar City PMI (Indonesian Red Cross) and Telkomedika, ASTON Makassar provides additional services for prospective blood donors, including additional blood sugar checks, blood pressure checks, and physiotherapy facilitated directly by Telkomedika. "This time, we are collaborating with the Makassar City PMI and Telkomedika to provide additional checks for prospective blood donors, so they can check their health and blood sugar levels before donating blood, which is facilitated by each party," said Indri Novianti, Assistant HR Manager of ASTON Makassar.

Indri added that out of 60 blood donor registrants, 50 people were accepted, resulting in 50 bags of blood successfully collected by ASTON Makassar in collaboration with the Makassar City PMI. Not only that, Indri also informed that 50 prospective blood donors also underwent blood sugar checks and physiotherapy while waiting for their turn to donate blood, facilitated by Telkomedika Makassar. "This time, the facilities we provide are different because of the blood sugar checks and physiotherapy for blood donor participants, provided directly by the Telkomedika team," she added.

Various vouchers and offers were also provided by Telkomedika for blood donor participants, including distributing physiotherapy discount vouchers worth Rp 250,000 for 1 (one) session, said Indri. Indri added that this social activity is expected to help our fellow citizens in need, especially as it is very valuable and can save many lives and promote health for those in need, making it a regular activity conducted by management every three months.
