Jambi City, June 2023. Aston Jambi Hotel & Conference Center is a four-star hotel located in Jambi City, which annually participates in the tradition of sacrificial offering in conjunction with the celebration of Eid al-Adha, the year 1444 H. In this tradition, Aston Jambi donates a goat as a reminder of the importance of sharing and receiving blessings from the meaning of sacrifice.

The tradition of sacrificial offering has been an integral part of Aston Jambi's Eid al-Adha celebration for many years. It is a tangible manifestation of Aston Jambi's commitment to practicing religious teachings and social values. This year, Aston Jambi chose to donate a goat as the sacrificial animal. Before the donation, Aston Jambi conducted a rigorous selection process to ensure the quality and eligibility of the sacrificial animal. The handing over process was conducted solemnly and attended by the managers and staff of Aston Jambi to representatives from the Silaturrahim Mosque Committee, located right in front of the ASTON Jambi Hotel, namely Mr. Redi, who serves as the mosque's imam.

According to Nico Fransisko, the General Manager of Aston Jambi, this tradition has noble goals. "In a sacred moment like Eid al-Adha, we feel it is important to observe the tradition of sacrificial offering as a reminder for all of us to always share and collectively attain blessings. Through this moment, we hope to realize the social values among different religious communities and provide a positive impact to the surrounding society," expressed Nico Fransisko enthusiastically.

The meat from the sacrificial goat will be distributed to the poor and less privileged families in the hotel's vicinity. The representatives of Aston Jambi hope to bring a little happiness and alleviate the burdens of those in need.

This sacrificial offering tradition is not only a historic moment for Aston Jambi but also an effort to strengthen relationships and foster goodwill between employees and the local community. Aston Jambi also believes that the spirit of mutual cooperation and social care is a strong foundation for building a better community.

Furthermore, Aston Jambi invites the wider community to participate in sharing happiness and blessings during Eid al-Adha. Through donations and social actions, every individual is encouraged to play a part in alleviating the burdens of their fellow brothers and sisters.

Aston Jambi hopes that this sacrificial offering tradition will inspire the broader community to always care for others and experience the invaluable blessings of this sacred moment. Aston Jambi will continue to uphold this commitment and contribute to building a better society.
