Semarang, February 27, 2025 – As the holy month of Ramadan approaches in early March 2025, Aston Inn Pandanaran Semarang has once again achieved a remarkable milestone by winning the Bed Making Battle competition organized by Archipelago International.
This year, Aston Inn Pandanaran Semarang participated in the Bed Making Battle, which took place from February 24 to 26, 2025, at Alana Malang, East Java. The management selected Diki Candra from the Housekeeping Department to represent the hotel in the competition, competing against 40 hotel units under Archipelago International, particularly from the Central (Central Java & Yogyakarta) and East (East Java) regions.
To emerge as the best, participants had to meet several strict criteria, including: Skills and Technique: Demonstrating expert bed-making skills, including tight corners, smooth sheets, and proper tucking.
Speed and Efficiency: Completing a perfectly made bed within three minutes without compromising quality. Attention to Detail: Ensuring neat pillow arrangements, well-set sheets, and an overall polished bed presentation. Adherence to Standards: Following hotel-standard procedures for bed-making, including hygiene and safety protocols. Through his dedication and perseverance, Diki Candra successfully outperformed all competitors and won 1st place in the Bed Making Battle competition.
