Aston Pasteur Hotel Holds Fire Drill to Enhance Employee Preparedness

As part of its ongoing commitment to ensuring the safety of guests and employees, Aston Pasteur Hotel has successfully conducted a comprehensive fire drill. The exercise, held in two sessions, was led by Mr. Rohman, Chief Engineer, and Mr. M. Iskandar, Chief Security of Aston Pasteur Hotel. Participants included representatives from each department as well as students undergoing On-the-Job Training (OJT). The drill aimed to enhance awareness and preparedness in emergency fire situations, ensuring employees can execute procedures swiftly and efficiently, including the proper use of fire extinguishing equipment.

 

The training program covered various aspects of fire response, including fire prevention, the use of emergency equipment such as portable fire extinguishers (APAR), Fire Extinguisher Balls, Fire Blankets, and fire safety protocols. The sessions took place in the hotel’s rear parking area and were attended by all employees. The first session was held on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, followed by the second session on Thursday, February 20, 2025. Both sessions were conducted smoothly and effectively, reinforcing the hotel’s commitment to regularly organizing such drills.

 

Mr. M. Iskandar, Chief Security of Aston Pasteur Hotel, emphasized the importance of the exercise as a proactive measure to ensure the safety of all stakeholders. "The safety of our guests and employees is our top priority. This drill is a crucial step in ensuring we are prepared to handle any emergency situation," he stated.
