Aston Sentul, a hotel under the Archipelago Group's modern resort brand, located just 15 minutes from Bogor and 50 minutes from Jakarta, successfully held a New Year's Eve celebration, school holiday programs, and Christmas events.
The highlight was the New Year’s Eve party, themed "Wizarding," which provided a magical experience. Upon entering the hotel, guests were greeted with Harry Potter-inspired decorations, crafted beautifully throughout the venue. General Manager Albert Siregar mentioned that Aston Sentul aimed to offer guests a distinctive experience with this Wizarding concept, making the New Year’s Eve celebration a quality moment for families. Guests were treated to over 200 types of dishes prepared by Executive Chef Agung Palupi and his culinary team. The menu featured a variety of dishes from east to west, including local Indonesian and international options, as well as special carvings such as whole fish with rock salt, roasted lamb, and ribs. A live sushi station and a seafood barbecue with various fish options were also available, alongside interactive stations like fried Asian noodles, rice, and a wok station.
The event was accompanied by vibrant entertainment, including Sarjiwa music, theatrical dance, modern ballet, and performances from Kokom Band, a popular comedy band in Indonesia. The night culminated in a grand prize giveaway, where one lucky guest won a motorbike, followed by a fireworks display in the hotel lobby. Additionally, the lobby area was transformed into an interactive play zone for children and families, featuring activities like virtual reality, electric bowling, a boxing game, and more.
Aston Sentul also organized special holiday programs for children, such as the "Fun Beverage Decorating" competition in collaboration with Kraft Heinz ABC Indonesia. Children aged 6-10 years decorated fruity milk smoothies, and their creations were judged on creativity and uniqueness by Chef Surya Alvin Chaniago of Kraft Heinz ABC Indonesia. This activity allowed kids to explore their creativity while having fun and learning new skills.
Other activities included a Zumba class held on Sundays in partnership with the Ade Rai Fitness Club, a walking water ball activity, fishing, horseback riding, and cake decoration contests. These offerings made Aston Sentul a popular destination for families looking for a memorable holiday experience.
In addition to the festive celebrations, the hotel also held a CSR Christmas event, where about 65 children from Chandra Naya Orphanage and Rumah Benih Iman Orphanage were invited. The event included a worship service, followed by the distribution of gifts and donations. Aston Sentul’s General Manager, Albert Siregar, emphasized that this event was part of their commitment to spreading love and care to those in need.
Throughout the holiday season, the hotel’s lobby was beautifully decorated with a Christmas tree and festive ornaments in red, green, and gold, creating an inviting atmosphere for guests. A choir from St. Francis of Assisi, Bogor, performed Christmas carols to add to the holiday cheer. The hotel always strives to create a different atmosphere each year to ensure guests leave with beautiful memories of their stay.
