Pontianak, December 18, 2024 – In the spirit of togetherness and compassion, Aston Pontianak Hotel & Convention Center conducted a visit to Kasih Abadi Orphanage, located on Jalan Kom Yos Sudarso, as part of this year’s Christmas celebration activities. This event aimed to share joy with the children of the orphanage and foster a sense of care within the community.
During the visit, several employees of Aston Pontianak Hotel & Convention Center brought various essential supplies, such as staple goods, and cash donations. The event also included a prayer session and a warm interaction with the children at the orphanage.
“Christmas is the perfect time to share and care for others. Through this activity, we hope to bring happiness and inspiration to the children at Kasih Abadi Orphanage and cultivate a sense of compassion towards others,” said Muhammad Khairuddin, Human Resources Manager of Aston Pontianak Hotel & Convention Center.
This social activity is part of Aston Pontianak's commitment to supporting the well-being of the local community through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. By prioritizing the values of togetherness, Aston Pontianak aims to be a part of positive change in society.
“We are very grateful and thankful to God that Aston Hotel visited our orphanage. This visit is very meaningful to us during this Christmas season, especially as we do not have regular donors. Once again, thank you for your attention and support. May these contributions be a blessing to all of us,” said Mrs. Wetty Oktaviani S. Pdk, the manager of Kasih Abadi Orphanage.
Kasih Abadi Orphanage was established in 1996 and currently houses 38 children, cared for by two dedicated guardians who live with the children. This place serves as a home for children from diverse backgrounds and regions who need support to grow and develop optimally.
Through this event, Aston Pontianak hopes to continue contributing to creating happiness, especially during special moments like Christmas. The hotel is also committed to continuing similar social activities in the future as part of its contributions to the local community.
