Jakarta, December 7, 2024 – Archipelago, the largest hotel operator in Southeast Asia, successfully held the Archarity Run 2024 on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at Rasuna Epicentrum Jakarta. This event served as a real testament to how sports can unite communities with a spirit of social responsibility. It also marked the first event organized by Archipelago.

The 5KM running race was participated by 550 runners from Archipelago hotels, representing more than 50 hotels within the Archipelago network. Participants not only competed but also enjoyed moments of camaraderie, filled with energy and enthusiasm. With running gear such as race packs, medals, certificates, and snacks, the event provided a memorable experience for every participant.

Archarity Run 2024 was more than just a sports event. It also carried a noble social mission, where all the funds raised will be donated to the Lilin Pelita Kasih Foundation's Shelter Home in West Jakarta. This foundation is well-known for its dedication to providing support for children and women cancer patients.

The spirited competition led to the following three winners who reached the finish line the fastest:

1st Place: Dedek Sukmara, from favehotel Cimanuk Garut.
2nd Place: Zaky Ramadhan, from Aston Cirebon Hotel & Convention Center.
3rd Place: Muhammad Iqbal Ramadhan, from favehotel Padjajaran Bogor.

The winners received prizes in the form of cash, medals, and exciting gifts from sponsors.

In addition, the presence of Archipelago’s CEO and executive committee was also felt at this event, including John Flood, CEO of Archipelago; Chris Legaspi, Chief Commercial Officer; Winston Hanes, Vice President of Operations; and Heru Purwono, Vice President of Finance.
