Aston Sentul, part of the Archipelago Group, continues to cater to the needs of both business travelers and families seeking a delightful getaway. Conveniently located just 10 minutes from Bogor and 50 minutes from Jakarta, it serves as an ideal destination for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
Adding creativity to the weekend, Aston Sentul, in collaboration with ABC Group, organized a Food Decorating Competition for children aged 6-10 years. The event took place at the pool deck on the 3rd floor from 8:30 AM to 10 AM.
Indri Hapsari, Marketing Communications Manager at Aston Sentul, explained, "We want to provide a space for children to nurture their creativity and imagination. Through this competition, they can learn, have fun, and make new friends”. Children were provided with ready to eat fried rice to decorate using a variety of fun toppings and garnishes. Their unique creations were judged by Chef Dede Wahyudi, Chef Food Service KH ABC Indonesia, based on creativity and uniqueness.
According to Agung Palupi, Executive Chef at Aston Sentul, "This competition teaches children to express themselves through the art of food decoration while enjoying a delightful atmosphere." Winners received exciting prizes from the event sponsors, while parents gained fresh inspiration for preparing creative meals for their kids.
Bintang Haldianto, Key Account Manager of Food Service KH ABC, added, "We hope this event will continue in the future, not only to encourage children’s creativity but also to provide real benefits for parents." The event concluded with a live cooking session featuring a collaboration between Executive Chef Agung Palupi and Chef Dede Wahyudi. They demonstrated techniques for cooking and plating hotel-style fried rice with signature ABC Group seasonings, offering both an educational and entertaining experience for participants and spectators alike.
This memorable weekend event at Aston Sentul not only reinforced its position as a family-friendly hotel but also highlighted its role as a place where creativity and togetherness are celebrated.
