Cirebon
A port city on the northeast coast of West Java, known for its Batik production and the typical ‘Trusmi Batik’ style, that applies distinctive materials and art. Cirebon has two historically significant palaces, the 16th-century Keraton Kasepuhan and the 17th-century Keraton Kanoman. The impressive 15th-century Great Mosque of Cirebon lies right in between, creating a wonderful history trail for visitors to follow and explore these iconic buildings within a short walking distance of each other.
